Crowdlet is an innovative wearable technology that enhances interactivity in live entertainment spaces using social media.
Crowdlet allows the user to control the colour of their wristband using twitter hashtags. Each hashtag corresponds to a specific colour, curated by the event’s coordinator. The simple CrowdLet app will allow users to turn their twitter trends into an epic experience. An otherwise static crowd will glow in unity, connecting event-goers to any performers and the crowd around them.
This project was created as part of the Ryerson Supercourse. This course encompasses four different Ryerson programs: Master of Digital Media, Master of Media Production, Computer Science and New Media.
The final project was a working prototype, launched at an industry showcase.
